Marco Rubio: Donald Trump Should Sue Whoever Messed Up His Face
A Republican state senator who endorsed businessman Donald Trump over Gov. Chris Christie when he was in the presidential campaign is welcoming the governor to the team. “If someone brought that up at a town hall of mine, I would have said ‘Before we answer, let’s clear some things up for the rest of the audience, ‘ and I think you have an obligation as a leader to do that”.
After watching as many Republican presidential debates as I have, you’d think I would have become numb to the idiocy that often accompanies these circus-like events.
“They do not know the playbook with Donald Trump, because he is rewriting the playbook”, Christie said.
And he delivered it with gusto on Friday as he shocked many in the political world by endorsing GOP front-runner Donald Trump for the Republican presidential nomination.
“I am proud to offer my endorsement of his candidacy for President”, 53-year-old Christie said yesterday at a rally in Fortworth, Texas. In his Saturday comments, Rubio went after Trump in the most personal terms. MA is one of 12 states that cast votes for party nominees on Tuesday.
Trump is campaigning in Texas, days ahead of the Super Tuesday primary. I’ve gotten to know all the people on that stage.
Trump, for his part, relishes his position, mocking the Republican establishment and his flailing rivals ahead of a glut of Tuesday primaries that offer up nearly a quarter of the GOP’s total delegate count. Speaking at a football stadium at Mount Paran Christian School in suburban Atlanta, Rubio said Trump has “the worst spray tan in America”. Ted Cruz – the two likeliest alternatives to Trump – “two of the people that create the gridlock” in Washington. “This is a low-life”, Trump said of Rubio, not leaving out Texas Sen. But not to be outdone, Cruz also tried to point out that Trump always repeats himself – while repeating the same lines he repeats in every single debate. “President of the United States is not a no-show job like you treated the United States Senate”, Christie said.
Walker was in Allouez Friday for a bill signing and says right now he just wants a Republican to win it all. If the person who is willing to stick his neck out to stop Trump defects to the anti-Trump side, who, exactly, do Republicans expect is going to stop him?
