Marco Rubio has been hard on the campaign trail in recent weeks with his heart set on winning the Republican nomination for president in 2016.
Never mind the dinky, lame-duck throw. The senator threw the ball to a boy and it hit the youngster in the face.
As one tweeter so eloquently put it, “How can Marco Rubio lead the country if he can’t even lead the receiver?”

Rubio’s no stranger to viral videos.
Rubio was in Iowa for a two-day campaign swing that included a stop at the Iowa State Fair.
“Thank you for braving the rain”, Rubio told the crowd, who skipped deep-fried goodies on a stick, so that they could keep their hands free for the necessary umbrella.
On Tuesday, Rubio told reporters his Senate duties and fundraising absorb chunks of his time.
Regardless, politicians and football make for a hilarious combination.
What is unclear is whether the boy ran the wrong pattern, or if Rubio’s pass was off the mark. In 2006 Rubio caught passes from former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino inside the Florida House.
Telling the young sports stars to “find the lace of the ball”, Rubio send a number of deliveries in children’s direction.
