Mariah Carey And James Packer Are Engaged

The pop superstar is marrying her boyfriend, billionaire Australian casino owner James Packer.

The couple have been dating for only eight months but that’s clearly enough time to decide they have found “the one” as, according to TMZ, he popped the question in NY yesterday. What advice do you have for James Packer and Mariah Carey for making their third marriage happy – and lasting?

Several months later they officially confirmed their couple status while on a sailing holiday on the Italian island of Capri on James’ private yacht.

According to E! Online he presented the singer with “what can only be described as the most breathtaking engagement ring”. “So we hit it off”, Carey recalled on “The Steve Harvey Show” in November, to which the host replied, “Ain’t he lucky”. James will surely be Mariah’s richest man of all time. No wedding date has been set as yet, though.

James inherited his father Kerry Packer’s sprawling media empire and also heads the worldwide gambling empire Melco Crown Entertainment. Carey shared a photo of herself posing with Packer, Brett Ratner and Kevin Tsujihara from the “Hercules” event via Instragam.

This will be the third marriage for both Mariah and James. He really is a good person, and that’s hard to find. They have four year old twins Monroe and Moroccan together.

The news outlet further reveals that Carey, with two children from ex-husband Nick Cannon, will be marrying Packer, who already has three children.

“It’s insane how flawless they are together, they both know it and couldn’t be happier”, the source added. “As soon as their friendship turned romantic, they have wanted to spend every moment together”, a source told E!
