Mariah Carey engaged to James Packer?

Mariah Carey is engaged to be married to her boyfriend of less than a year, Australian billionaire James Packer. Carey is finishing up her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace before jetting out on a world tour, and while Packer will join her for numerous tour dates, he’s also involved with philanthropy work. The star was of course more than excited to show off the attractive diamond to tall of the waiting photogs. The singer is set to tie the knot to Australian billionaire James Packer, a spokeswoman for the superstar has confirmed. The couple were seen outside the venue with Carey, 45, happily flashing what appears to be a very large diamond ring, which various jewellers in the United Kingdom have estimated to cost in excess of $7m (£4.8m), the Mail Online reports. Harvey remarked that Packer was a very “lucky” guy, to which the celebrated singer, Mariah Carey replied, “I’m lucky too”. “But it is epic”.

It goes without saying that Rosado did an absolutely fantastic job with the breathtaking ring!

For Mariah, one of the most influential pop singers of the past two decades, this will be her third marriage. E! has reported that James Packer proposed with a ring that includes 35 carats! Yes. 35.

The five-time Grammy award victor has four-year-old non-identical twins from her marriage to Nick, Moroccan and Monroe.

According to Forbes, Packer’s fortune is worth $US3.5 billion. And though the pair have divorced, they still make holidays a family affair – spending Thanksgiving together.

It will be the third marriage for both Packer and Carey.

Speaking about their meeting, Mariah previously said: “We were talking and laughing and people were getting mad at us and stuff like that”.
