Mariah Carey’s twins Moroccan and Monroe twins upstage their mom at Hollywood

After posing for pictures with her newly minted star, the lady of the hour did what true divas do: hopped into the limo and headed to the after-party.

News of James and Mariah romance emerged last month when the unlikely lovers were spotted strolling the streets of Capri, Italy, hand-in-hand and the Love Takes Time hitmaker joining James on his luxury super yacht the Arctic P to sail around the Mediterranean.

She then added: “Thank you so much, really, everybody for being here…”

“I stopped everything I was doing to make sure that I was here for you, because you’ve always been there for me, Mariah, before Lee Daniels was Lee Daniels“, Daniels said at today’s Walk of Fame ceremony.

Instead, her adorable twins – four-year-old Monroe and Moroccan Cannon outshined the Elusive Chanteuse.

The rendering of Carey’s Hollywood star was followed by a congratulatory lunch which was accommodated by one of her best pals Jeff Beacher.

The global superstar was joined by Lee Daniels, who directed her in the film Precious and producer LA Reid for the ceremony. “I’m so proud of you”.

According to a Daily Dish blog, Carey received the 2,556th star eight years after she was handed the accolade.

Carey, famous for her five-octave range, thanked fans who have supported her through a career that has produced such smash pop hits as “Hero“, “We Belong Together” and “Someday”. “This is a huge honor”, she said. Moroccan appeared to be the more outgoing one of the pair, at times even asking his mom for gum. “I’m very humbled”. “I was the Program Director at WILD in Boston, and Columbia [Records] was obviously very excited about her so they were taking her out on the road”.

The Fox music drama “Empire” has featured a host guest stars including Naomi Campbell and Rita Ora, with several big names confirmed for season 2 including Kelly Rowland, Chris Rock and Marisa Tomei. All we can do is wait and see when Empire premieres on September 23.
