Mark Cuban endorses Hillary Clinton, taunts Donald Trump
Billionaire investor Mark Cuban says he’s voting for Hillary Clinton and thinks you should too.
He had been open to accepting a vice presidential offer from either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, yet had not endorsed either candidate – until today.
But if you have followed Mark Cuban over the past weeks on social media, you obviously know he no longer rides that thin line as he has taken it upon himself to be one of the biggest voices against Donald Trump.
Before he threw out this insult, Cuban questioned Trump’s business record and insisted the GOP nominee be more transparent.
He also mentioned that he had met with Trump in recent months and told him “at some point you have to learn, at some point you have to read”. “I’m ready to tell the world that I’m here to endorse Hillary Clinton”.
“So with that in mind, I’m ready to tell you that I’m ready to vote for a true leader”.
The endorsement ended the suspense over whom Cuban would back in the presidential race after expressing affinities for both Clinton and Trump.
Cuban, a judge on the reality TV show “Shark Tank”, even mocked “The Apprentice”, which Trump previously hosted, saying his show “kicked “The Apprentice’s” ass”.
“You know what we call a person like that – the screamers, the yellers, the people that try to intimidate you?” “He’s not transparent enough for us to actually know”.
“We are visiting places that prove what Americans can do”, Clinton said in Johnstown.
“Leadership is not yelling and screaming and intimidating”, Cuban said in a surprise appearance at a Clinton rally.
Hillary Clinton has chosen Tim Kaine as her vice presidential nominee, and the next 102 days will remain testimony to perseverence of the Democratic nominee.
Cuban called campaign chairman John Podesta on Thursday, before Clinton delivered her speech at the Democratic National Convention.
Cuban’s endorsement comes in the middle of the Clinton-Kaine campaign’s three-day bus tour through the Rust Belt, where they are selling their economic vision and plan to working class Americans.
“In Hillary Clinton’s America, the American dream is alive and well”, Cuban said.
Clinton also name-checked Cuban while speaking about her tax plan.
