Mark Cuban jokingly drops f-bomb for a good cause
As you can imagine, Cuban got really into the trash talk at the beginning of the event and dropped an f-bomb when talking about his opponents.
The colorful language can be entertaining, but it can also be costly.
Mark Cuban can be found everywhere these days, like Saturday’s Intel Extreme Masters showdown for League Of Legends players.
Host: “So I’ve just been informed that you’ve actually been fined $15,000 and it’s okay though because it’s going to a good cause”.
“f*** it”, he said, which was followed by laughs all around. However, one detail make catch people off-guard: The swear came before a video-game match.
“I love Colin [Cowherd] but he’s an idiot”.
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is literally a billionaire, so as you might imagine, having essentially unlimited amounts of money at his disposal allows him to say whatever he wants. It’s one of the smartest games I’ve ever played. This is a real sport. Naturally, Cuban took this as an opportunity to invest more money. Before his match, Cuban was asked to respond to some disparaging remarks made by Colin Cowherd, a former ESPN sports reporter now with Fox Sports, who called gamers “nerds” and referred to them as basement-dwellers on his shows.
Nonetheless, eSports are a big deal. I wouldn’t go as far as saying celebrity involvement in eSports is good, but involvement of business minds like Cuban can push the industry in the right direction.
Cuban’s team went on to beat the team led by Intel CEO Brian Krzanich.
In conclsion, we still aren’t sure about eSports.
