Mark Ruffalo rewards fans with $100 after return of wallet
The 48-year-old actor had lost his belongings in NY, and it didn’t take long for them to be found, thanks to the micro-blogging site, reported Ace Showbiz.”APB out for a cell phone in a wallet case out on the streets of NYC in a blizzard”, Ruffalo tweeted.
One can always depend on the kindness of the Twittersphere – especially when it comes to New Yorkers. They checked his driver’s license, but didn’t recognize “Mark Ruffalo“.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday (23Jan16), Mark revealed he had lost two of his most precious belongings in the snow, and pleaded with fans to help him locate it. “Reward and signed pic”, he wrote to his 2.1 million followers.
“That was freaking fast”, he marvelled in a tweet.
Ruffalo thanked Amenaide and Catherine Brown for finding his cellphone and wallet with an adorable picture of him hugging his daughters.
“Thank you! Wow! Another point for the decency in people”, Ruffalo Tweeted back.
The family were unable to unlock Ruffalo’s phone but could see a text had been received and were able to call the number of the sender and get in touch with the Avengers star’s publicist.
