Marnie Simpson faces Geordie Shore exit after row over Ricky Rayment
It’s official, Marnie Simpson has left Geordie Shore!
Ricky surprised Marnie with the proposal while she was shooting “Geordie Shore” in Greece, even though he was originally planning to ask her to marry him when they went on holiday in Italy and his fiancee previously admitted she’d have preferred it if he had popped the question off camera.
While we can’t help but wonder if his lyrics are inspired by his Geordie Shore fiancé Marnie Simpson, as he sings: “I was lost and then she came and now I’m found. Don’t know what you do to me, babe”.
“MTV filmed two endings for Geordie Shore 11 and no decision has yet been made as to which we will air”.
“Marnie was told the news earlier this week and is said to be devastated to have been dropped”. “Viewers will have to tune in to find out”.
“Given a choice on the day of my engagement”, Marnie wrote in her now-deleted message. It reads: “Being part of Geordie Shore was astonishing and one of the best experiences I’ve ever been given and I will never forget it, yet I couldn’t continue in the show in a relationship it wasn’t fun fun to me anymore and I didn’t enjoy it…”
Speaking in her column for Star Magazine, the mum of 1 said: “Ricky and Marnie say they want kids, but it think it’s too soon”.
She added, “You’re not the Beckhams, love!” I’m so grateful to MTV for the opportunity ad journey I got it was fantastic and I will always remember it as a great time in my life’.
Admitting he was “broody”, Ricky confessed: “I’m hoping we’ll start trying on our honeymoon”.
