Marques Colston Injury: Updates on Saints Star’s Arm and Return
The New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons are on a short week as they look to face each other Thursday night at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston sustained a separated shoulder during Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles and could have additional structural damage, reports Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Marques Colston, a Susquehanna Twp. grad, injured his shoulder late in the third quarter in a 39-17 loss at Lincoln Financial Field. Willie Snead had six catches for 141 yards, while Brandin Cooks had five for 107 and a touchdown. Now in his tenth year, Colston holds franchise records for touchdowns, with 68, receptions, with 684, and yards from scrimmage with almost 9,500-hundred yards. He has yet to find the end zone.
Colston is one of the longest-tenured Saints on the roster. Feel free to move on.
