Married at First Sight: Twitter predicts whether Jason & Kate and James & Emma
Viewers will get a second chance to say “I Do” to controversial documentary Married At First Sight after Channel 4 commissioned another series.
At the end of last night’s finale, it was revealed that they had split after just three weeks, after Kate’s friends discovered that Jason had signed up to Tinder post-honeymoon.
She said: “It says marriage is important because of social cohesion”.
‘I made a decision after the honeymoon to end things.’.
“And what’s interesting about it is in the countries where it’s already played out, the feedback has been very positive and celebratory and the people involved in it have come back with a very different perspective on what they need from a relationship”.
Jason added that due to their opposite working schedules, they rarely saw each other. Ross and Rachel. Mickey and Minnie!
It wasn’t long after that Katie’s friend spotted him on a dating website and texted the bad news.
She revealed: ‘A friend just sent me this and so I guess that’s it – the ring’s coming off.
We’re not the only ones who were sad and disappointed that the pair’s relationship didn’t work out, as viewers shared their outrage of what had happened on Twitter, and #MarriedAtFirstSight was trending in the UK.
Although Kate and Jason have called time on their marriage, it looks like fellow MAFS couple, Emma Rathbone and James Ord-Hume, are loving married life.
Didn’t everything look like it was going peachy for Married At First Sight couple Jason Knowles and Kate Stewart?
After a thorough testing process involving IQ tests, genetic tests, psychological assessments and even having their faces measured, the panel decided two couples were matched well enough to marry.
Seems like there is some truth to science finding us love.
