Marshawn Lynch Is Making Dreams Come True For One McDonald’s Employee
Marshawn Lynch is a mother-loving G. The Super Bowl-winning running back, who is not fond of talking to the media, was at a McDonald’s in Dallas when he proved actions speak louder than words.
It happened in a Dallas outpost of the fast food chain after the Seahawks beat the Cowboys last Sunday. The employee, 17-year-old Terrance Downs, started talking to Lynch as he was mopping the restaurant’s floors.
It was then that the Seahawks running back gave Downs $500, saying, “If you’re serious about getting those shoes, here’s a few money to help you get them”.
Lynch asked Downs about his education – not surprising being that Marshawn went to Cal – and what the young man wants to do when he gets older.
Downs did buy the shoes he coveted, and said his motivation to succeed is even stronger after meeting Lynch in part so “I can do the same thing for someone else one day”. “My job is to continue to see you grow”, Lynch told Downs. That’s when Lynch pulled out a surprise – $500, to put toward a pair of his own high-fashion shoes.
A McDonald’s spokesperson told TMZ that “Marshawn left a huge positive impact on Terrance”.
