Marshawn Lynch makes fun of Super Bowl ending on TV show
The Seattle Seahawks play calling at the end of Super Bowl XLIX is still troll-worthy, even by those who were a part of the blunder.
Making his return to the wacky fantasy football sitcom, Lynch and Taco (played by Jon Lajoie) are seen lounging on beach chairs, enjoying beers in the opening clip. While the two are drinking beers together, Taco’s brother, who’s standing about five feet away from them, asks for a beer.
The Seahawks not running the ball at the goal line is the stuff that makes up classic Super Bowl blunders, and it’s a play that we clearly won’t stop talking about anytime soon. “He is a bit bit occupied proper now”, the present’s co-creator Jeff Schaffer joked to a gaggle of reporters Friday.
A new season of “The League” premieres September 9.
“We really tried to get Brady to be on the show, but it didn’t work out”.
Brady is appealing a four-game suspension for using underinflated footballs during the AFC championship game in January.
“The League” does tackle the controversy in an upcoming episode, and is prepared if Brady’s suspension will get decreased.
“We have shot (alternative scenes)”, Schaffer said. “Let’s put it that method”.
The League also stars Mark Duplass, Nick Kroll, Katie Aselton, and Paul Scheer.
