Marshawn Lynch to Visit a Specialist, Surgery an

Meyers is a specialist for sports hernia, according to reports, and even though there is still no official diagnosis regarding Lynch’s injury, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that he may have suffered a sports hernia.

“We rested him all week and we rehabbed him all week-long”.

Lynch was originally listed as probable for last Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers, but he did not play due to an “abdominal injury”. Seattle coach Pete Carroll said Monday it was unlikely Lynch could play Sunday against the Steelers, so the team was expected to add another tailback regardless.

“I don’t know about that now”. If it requires surgery, it could end Lynch’s season. They’ll treat him back there. There are a couple choices, possibly, depending on what the doc feels is necessary. Maybe the docs have got something they can help him with.

Because it appears the Seahawks are in more than capable hands with Rawls, there’s no need to rush Lynch back.
