Martavis Bryant Injury: Updates on Steelers WR’s Elbow and Return
With NFL Training Camps opening up one by one, highlights, such as Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant, will start popping up daily.
According to FoxSports.com’s Ross Jones, Bryant will undergo a “minor procedure for [an] elbow infection” that is expected to keep him out for 10 days. The Steelers traded a conditional fifth-round pick in 2016 to acquire Boykin, who has played in every game for three seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.
He is expected to miss the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio, next Sunday, FOX Sports reported Saturday.
Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant is showing us exactly how “far along” they are. Bryant spent most of 2014 as a deep threat, but expects to be used in a variety of ways this fall.
Bryant finished his rookie campaign with 26 receptions for 529 yards and eight touchdowns.
With the year he had last season as a rookie, many people are wondering just how much he can progress in his second year. More importantly Bryant averaged over 21 yards per reception and had a big impact on quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
