Martin O’Malley on Democratic debate: Bring it on

Bernie Sanders: Sanders has climbed steadily in the national polls from his July 15 percent to 24 percent today. If they take a cue from Republican candidate Carly Fiorina, whose debate performance helped her pull away from the pack, they might be able to appeal to wavering voters.
It was an honest answer but poses a tricky pass for a man whose candidacy is soaring, in part, because he seems like a guy who uncompromisingly speaks out for what he believes.
As he heads into the first Democratic debate, O’Malley faces the challenge of making a positive and meaningful first impression on the many voters who remain unfamiliar with him.
Sanders supporters argue they can catch up.

CNN stated that they would allow him to participate in the first Democratic primary debate, and Biden fans are hoping he will throw his hat in the ring last second and compete.

Biden waiting in the wings?
But there are others who are confident that Hillary will rise to the occasion.
Indeed, with the absence of vice president Joe Biden who has to still decide if he’ll run, the Democratic race at this point is essentially a Clinton versus Sanders match-up.
Who will moderate the debate?
Such a move, however, could be disastrous for her because if Sanders prevailed in New Hampshire it would be an astounding, even game-changing, victory that would deal her a very serious setback.
Even as a spectator, however, the VP’s presence will be felt.
It’s important to note, however, that many factors contribute to general well-being of the economy, so one shouldn’t treat Clinton’s implication – that Democratic presidencies are better for the economy – with irrational exuberance.
