Marvel Sets ‘Ant-Man’ Sequel For 2018
The addition of a second “Ant-Man” film means other movies in Phase 3 will get shifted around.
Technobuffalo, describing the new Ant-Man’s suit, notes that the helmet no longer has red stripes on the forehead, jawline converges into a single mouthpiece, more armor over the shoulders and over the chest, and re-designed bracers.
Meanwhile, War Machine is portrayed more warrior-like, ditching the blue-red-white color combination he had in Marvel’s “Iron Man 3”.
The new suit is expected to be seen in the upcoming “Captain America” sequel.
And which heroes do you think will appear in those 3 mystery film slots? We expect the landscape of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to look very different following the Civil War, but at least this new announcement helps clear the vision of the studio, and the stories it still wants to tell.
Marvel also announced a shifting of the tectonic dates. Nothing extraordinary has occurred, but there are a few changes. He wears a darker armor in the photo with more sophisticated design, Ace Showbiz noted. Not exactly Avengers: Age of Ultron numbers, but enough to warrant a sequel. However, after an incident involving the Avengers results in much damage, political efforts attempt to install a system that will determine when the team will be called on to help. Iron Man supports the initiative, while Cap is against it. This is where the rift within the Avengers begins.
According to Comicbookmovie.com, the film will star Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Bruhl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman.
