Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2 coming to PS4, Xbox and PC
Those games were X-Men Legends and X-Men Legends 2, and Marvel hasn’t just announced it’s re-releasing remastered versions of both games next Tuesday, for PC and the current consoles. No word on price yet, but they did mention that it wold include most of the DLC that was originally available. With the sequel, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, coming out 3 years later. The games return on July 26 and can be purchased individually ($39.99) or as a bundle ($59.99). Speaking about the re-releases, he explained that the developers worked hard on improving the games’ performance, and enhancing UI and some graphics. While they could still be included in the game, the lack of information might mean that Marvel could make fans pay for them again, which would be troubling and could cause some fan backlash.
According to Marvel, there won’t be many changes to Marvel Ultimate Alliance or MUA2.
In the announcement, we learn that four-player cooperative play is still in the mix, including both couch and online play. Playing this game with friends is also an wonderful feature and there’s good news for this re-release. Teams based on actual Marvel superhero teams also provide bonuses to players.
“It’s a ideal time to play these games if you missed them the first time or replay with new friends and new Super Hero dream teams”, he said on a Marvel interview.
Speaking to Marvel, executive producer Mike Jones said that “Marvel Ultimate Alliance” is a celebrated game when it was first launched since it brought together super heroes across Marvel Universe in one incredible action RPG game.
