‘Matrix’ Actress Essie Davis Mocks Cersei
Essie Davis (The Babadook, The Matrix Revolutions) will appear in the upcoming sixth season of HBO’s Game of Thrones. This time it is Australian actress Essie Davis who has been given the role of an actress in a satirical play poking fun at the grisly world of Westeros.
Davis is known for her work in horror hit “The Babadook” and two “Matrix” sequels.
The play will be a version of all the King’s Landing intrigue that is gone down on the show since the series began.
[A woman] in her early 40s, she’s an elegant actress with a traveling theatre company. She joins Melbourne’s Noah Taylor who starred in Game Of Thrones for eight episodes as Locke before having his neck snapped by Bran Stark while warging into Hodor – classic. Grant is rumored to be the leader of the troupe.
According to recent “Game of Thrones” season 6 spoilers, some well-known characters from the BBO series will also appear in “The Bloody Hand“, which means there will be resurrections through flashbacks.
It’s said that Davis will be playing “Cersei” in a parody production by an acting troupe.
Other newcomers to be featured on “Game of Thrones” season six include “Harry Potter” actor Freddie Stroma as Dickon Tarly and Danish actor Pilou Asbaek as Euron Greyjoy. His character “specializes in portraying drunken aristocrats”.
