Matt Damon acts out his entire film career with James Corden
As part of his promotional push for this weeks The Martian, Matt Damon stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden and sprinted through one of the hosts clever live montages of multiple film roles from Damons career.
The actor made a decision to revisit these 20 years within the span of roughly eight minutes on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” and act out his roles – each massive and small – on the present. Poor Corden had to be prepared to get knocked down by Jason Bourne (three times!), whacked by Tom Ripley (with an oar!) and generally manhandled throughout the full 8-minute run-through.
Damon put on his best Boston accent for the most famous scene from “Good Will Hunting“.
Somehow, James Corden gets to play George Clooney.
A few of the more notable moments included “Oceans Eleven”, “Happy Feet Two“, in which the two dressed as lobsters, and “We Bought A Zoo”.
“What are you doing?”
“The Martian”, which also stars Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels, Michael Pena, Sean Bean, Kate Mara, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Donald Glover invades theaters on Friday.
We have to admit, though, that Corden sometimes steals the show.
