Matt Damon’s acting career in just 8 minutes
Damon’s new film, the aforementioned “The Martian”, made it into the mix, allowing the actor to offer a semi-organic plug for his latest project. As part of his promotional push for this weeks The Martian, Matt Damon stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden and sprinted through one of the hosts clever live montages of multiple film roles from Damons career.
“I’m Jason Bourne! I’m Jason Bourne!”
Of course, the Oscar-winning actor plugged his upcoming sci-fi flick, “The Martian”. And to pay homage to Damon’s impressive body of work, Corden invited the 44-year-old star to do a quick whizz through all his films.
Corden similarly acted out a seven-minute retrospective of Tom Hanks’ career during his show’s debut episode on March 23, followed by a six-minute jaunt through 17 Arnold Schwarzenegger movies on May 4. Be sure to watch the whole thing, including the closing duet straight from 1999’s “The Talented Mr. Ripley“!
Oh, he hits the big ones (Good Will Hunting, the Ocean’s series, the Bourne series, The Departed, Saving Private Ryan), and he hits the weird ones (We Bought a Zoo, Stuck on You, Behind the Candelabra).
