Before the X Factor finals, he said he hoped his female fans would vote for him even more.
After Matt Terry took the title last night, people are wondering whether he was the victor right from the start.
He explained: “I feel like I’m so exhausted and delirious, I just need to go back to bed and wake up tomorrow and have celebrate”.
“I want to say a massive thank you to everyone I have met across this entire journey”, he wrote on Twitter.
Simon Cowell was one of the first to congratulate him and said: “You came into this final as a good artist, you ended as a great artist. You are now part of that chapter”. “Well deserved.
