Maurizio Sarri Claims Eden Hazard Is The Best Player In Europe
We’ve traditionally been quite a good team to play if you want to break a winless run!
Former Chelsea left-back Celestine Babayao has revealed that he is upset with his worldwide teammate Nwankwo Kanu after notching a hat-trick in that memorable game at Stamford Bridge 19 years ago.
Arsenal appear to be slowly putting the pieces together under Unai Emery and registered their third win in three matches at the expense of Newcastle United, who have just one point from their first five games of the season.
Sol Bamba shocked Chelsea with Cardiff’s first away goal of the season, but Hazard’s treble and a late goal by Willian saw Maurizio Sarri become the fourth manager to win his first five Premier League games.
However it is a fate the forward is yet to come close to, never having reached the 20 goal mark in a single season at the Bridge.
Asked if Hazard can win the Golden Boot, Sarri said: “I think so”.
“In the moment we are very unsafe in the offensive phase but we are not solid as I want in the defensive phase”, he added.
The French World Cup victor proved the ideal foil for Belgian star Eden Hazard and the pair combined to drag the home side back from a goal down in the first half.
“In the last two weeks I have seen four matches of Cardiff and four matches of PAOK and I thought Giroud was more suitable for the Cardiff match and Morata for the other”.
“I don’t know now the situation. I think there are three teams worse than us [in the division]”. There’s no rush to get to Chelsea so you can say that Eden Hazard is your team-mate. “The only thing I don’t like in Chris at this moment is the haircut but I am nobody to tell him that”. He can have more energy in the last 25 metres.
“When Alvaro is playing it’s different – he’s a different player”.
The Chelsea boss has backed Hazard to win the Premier League Golden Boot, and challenged him to score 40 goals in all competitions.
“He’s one of the best in Europe for sure”. “We score goals and always try to continue scoring goals”.
“Certainly, after this World Cup, I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will have the final decision”.
