MB data for Rs 9/day!

Aircel launches Affordable Data packs: Domestic mobile phone operator Aircel has introduced an affordable range of unlimited mobile data packs for both 2G and 3G networks which starts at Rs 9 and goes up to Rs 399. Aircel is offering different data plans with different validities.

The company is offering unrestricted 100MB information for 1 day at Rs 9, 1GB data for for 10 days at Rs 79, 3GB information for 30 days at Rs 249, and 7.5 GB information for 15 days at Rs 399. The data packs have been designed keeping in mind the growing data consumption. Naitonal Head-Data of Aircel, Sunil Kattam said this meant a reduction of upto 60 per cent in data tariffs for prepaid customers, while for postpaid customers (existing and new), internet would be made available free, upto speeds of 64 Kbps. We have witnessed an increasing demand for data especially for entertainment and productivity purposes. “We’re confident our products will help fuel internet adoption for those who still aren’t online”, he said. “Being a data focused company, Aircel is constantly innovating with data products to stay relevant”, he said. “This is clearly a reflection of our vision to empower all our customers with easily accessible and affordable internet”.

Officials of Aircel has unveiled data packs in this November month to retain current users and get new customers. With a USSD recharge of Rs 9 per day, subscribers can enjoy 100 MB of data.
