McEnroe will work Wimbledon final for TV as Raonic’s coach
Andy Murray and Milos Raonic are headed to a tiebreaker in the second set of the Wimbledon final.
Raonic got to this position after defeating star Roger Federer in a breakthrough semifinal performance.
A crushing 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 victory over Tomas Berdych – his fifth straight-sets victory in his six matches so far at the tournament – sent the 29-year-old Scot into a showdown with MilosRaonic, who is the first Canadian man ever to reach a Grand Slam final.
Hello everyone and welcome to the Wimbledon Final 2016, featuring big-serving* Canadian Milos Raonic against canny Scotsman Andy Murray live!
Ivan Lendl has been key to Andy Murray’s only two grand slam titles and could be about to guide him to a third at Wimbledon.

“The pre-match stuff, the work that you do in preparation for the matches, is where you get the big benefit”.
Brilliant display of tennis by Murray, tie-break and 6-4 7-6 (3) lead. “At the US Open that year, I played the semi-final over two days against Rafa”. Raonic, with the trophy slipping away, erred twice and the Brit soared to a 7-2 tie-break rout.
But Murray has thrived, with a counter-punching, defensive game and sublime returns of serve.
But on a breezy afternoon, at a Centre Court filled with almost 15,000 partisan fans, Murray basically shut down that integral part of Raonic’s game.
Both Venus and Serena are playing in opposing semi-finals and, if successful, could face each other in the final for the first time since 2009.
But speaking to The Sun, Murray said there was no tension between the players anymore.
But, refuting speculation his lengthy wave to the crowd was a final farewell to Wimbledon, Federer added: “I hope to be back on Centre Court, to be very clear for you”.
In this era where longevity among the top players is the norm, Raonic still counts as the new generation at 25 years old, and he has never been afraid of stating his belief that he could challenge for the sport’s greatest honours.
Working with former women’s world number one Amelie Mauresmo brought Murray plaudits as a feminist pioneer in the macho world of men’s tennis, but the relationship yielded no more Grand Slam titles.
