Meek Mill faces jail after latest parole violation
The first time Nicki took the stand in his defense and claimed she’d help him with his probation and make sure he doesn’t get into any more trouble.
He also apologised to the District Attorney for blasting her as a “b**ch” in his diss track The Ride, and he became emotional as he declared, “I’m not a gangsta”.

He was convicted of a gun charge in 2008 and subsequently served time in jail, received probation and went through drug and alcohol counseling. It’s likely that Brinkley will send Meek back to prison, but the judge chose to hold off on her sentencing until February 5.
“He’s thumbing his nose at me”, Judge Brinkley said. “I don’t know that would be appropriate because you and I have been around the block a few times”. I think she recognized it, and I kind’ve think it saved me really.
“I know, your honor”, he quietly replied”. The rapper might be heading to prison if the judge orders him back to jail. “She actually worked with me but as a rapper, [and] sometimes, they could see things in a certain way”.
The violations include Mill’s performances at a NY benefit concert last month and, according to prosecutors, efforts to meet up in various cities with Minaj.
Mill told the judge he was so concerned about the rules that he missed being at his mother’s bedside after a recent surgery in New Jersey. The judge revoked his travel permit in 2012, and the following year, he was reprimanded for failing to accurately report his travels. Per Allyn’s tweets, producer Kenny Gamble called him the “voice of the voiceless”, while a label rep noted that Meek has a “year of philanthropy planned”.
