Meek Mill Found Guilty Of Probation Violation, Sentencing Set For 2016
Minaj promised to keep boyfriend Meek Mill on the straight and narrow as a judge threatened jail over his latest parole infractions.
The judge found Meek Mill in “technical violation” of his probation for breaking travel restrictions and the reported cold water he tried to pass off as urine during a drug test.
Meek also thanked the judge for the second chance she gave him before when she decided not to send him to prison for years after he was convicted in a 2009 drug and gun case.
In the Spring 2015 issue of XXL Magazine, the 28-year-old MC opened up about his views on Judge Brinkley when she sentenced him to six months in prison last year.
Following news that Mill was found guilty of violating his probation, Brown took to Twitter to vent about the legal system.
Meek claimed that he’s dropped some of his old friends and has been spending more time with his family and his girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, whom he claims he’s in serious talks with about marriage.
Since they split, Samuels has never been one to stay quiet about what went down during him and Nicki’s relationship.
“I have the potential to be greater than I am today”, the rapper told the court. The lawyer also told the judge that the “Anaconda” rapper would not marry someone who is a bum or a criminal, TMZ reports.
Sounding contrite, Mill praised Brinkley for helping him turn his life around, and said he holds her in the same esteem as his mother, grandmother, sister, and girlfriend. “He can be irresponsible”, Minaj, 33, testified last week. “Since I’ve come in his life, I think I’ve been working on that a little bit….” “The DAs and JUDGES get just as high as the next man and f*** people’s lives up!”
His sentencing hearing is schedule for February when he will know his fate.
