Meek Mill on brink of jail time
Meek Mill is facing the judge Thursday – with Nicki Minaj by his side – in the probation violation hearing – and so far, it’s not sounding great for him.
With it being a “personal” present, Drake reportedly kidded Meek Mill’s girlfriend Nicki Minaj to think of him while putting on the “ultra sexy gift”.
The hitmaker also promised to ensure Meek fulfils his community service obligations, saying: ‘He’s not ideal but I can’t believe how much he’s changed’.
Meek testified in Philly for more than an hour, and during the testimony he got emotional a few times, including while describing how much it hurt not being able to go see his mom in N.J. after she had surgery. “He can be irresponsible”.
The 28-year-old, born Robert Williams, is on probation following a drug and gun conviction in 2008.
Defense witnesses blame the travel lapses on the chaos of the music industry.
“He wouldn’t be Meek Mill”.
On that, Brinkley seemed to agree.
In addition to previously jailing him, the judge had ordered him to take etiquette, anger management and parenting classes as well as extended his probation.
As well as showing off her insane curves, she was also flaunting her incredibly trim tummy in the sexy selfie.
“I hang in clubs, people from the hood, the streets, where people are not about the same things as me”, he said. “And I haven’t been convinced otherwise”. “He wouldn’t be who he is if you sent him to the state penitentiary in 2009. He wouldn’t be Meek Mill”.
That would presumably stall his career following a year when the RocNation-signed talent has performed with Minaj, Jay-Z and other industry A-listers.
Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley sent the entertainer back to jail for five months previous year for similar violations.
