Meek Mill releases surprise EP; disses Drake yet again
The Sixers may have just found their key to victory: Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill.
What’s music like in your locker room on game day?
Rather the team likes to listen to Young Thug, Drake, Rick Ross, Weezy and Rich Homie Quan.
Have you had to put a ban on Meek Mill? Has Meek become so preoccupied with evening the score with Drake that he’s become reckless in his rapping without realizing it?
Elsewhere on the track, Meek spits, “We really started from the bottom, unlike we them niggas”, and then ends things with a direct nod to “Back to Back”-the Meek Mill diss track released on July 31 that seemingly ended his career”.
The track, posted on Mill’s SoundCloud page, takes aim at Drake for allegedly using a ghostwriter.
Meek went directly at Drizzy’s head on his new 4/4 EP release Saturday (January 16) and referenced rap star girlfriend Nicki Minaj. The most notable cut of the four-song project is “I’m Da Plug (Freestyle)”.
Stream “4/4” here and get your yuks in before the Drake Album Watch swamps everything around it. Originally, it was widely believed that Meek lost the rap battle, and the latest diss track directed toward Drake makes Mill look desperate, according to widespread opinions on social media.
As it turns out, Meek Mill and Drake weren’t always beefing. Check it out in the video below.
