Meet Gal Gadot, the badass actress who stars as ‘Wonder Woman’
The House of Cards actress will play Diana’s aunt, General Antiope, the woman responsible for teaching her to become the fiercest warrior in the DC comic universe.
And, if like us, you now can’t get that amazing Wonder Woman theme out of your head… “You’re a man?” she asks. The 31-year-old actress revealed she was inspired from Princess Diana to portray the role.
Wonder Woman is only the second feature film of Jenkins’ career and the first time that she has tackled a big budget feature. The pilot tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world and Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat.

“Wonder Woman has the heart of a human and the strength of a goddess and combination of the two is very powerful”, Gadot said. Wonder Woman looks stunned and says: “You’re a man”, to which he replies, “Yeah, do I not look like one?” The trailer depicts much of the reshuffled origin story of the character, transplanting her Second World War origins to the First World War decades earlier. The effects are incredible, and the slow-motion shot of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman leaping into action is just flawless. “I would want to be naive like that again”, she added. Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with RatPac-Dune Entertainment, an Atlas Entertainment/Cruel and Unusual production, “Wonder Woman”.
The trailer gives a glimpse of Wonder Woman in the battlefield, a glimpse of Themyscira, the island where Wonder Woman and Amazons like her live.
“I believe an enemy is coming from far away. And I think the same is true of our Diana”, Gal shared.
Snyder and the cast teased “Justice League”, which is now in production and not set to hit theaters until November 2017.
