Mega Man Legends is coming to PSN next week
“And so it is my privilege to confirm that next Tuesday, September 29th, you will be able to purchase the precocious PS1 classic, Mega Man Legends, on the North American PlayStation Store”.
Coming from Capcom Employee Gregaman on the Capcom official blog, it was revealed that not only is Mega Man Legends coming to the PlayStation Store, but it’s already coming next week and at a good price. Capcom has announced Mega Man Legends, the 1998 action RPG starring Mega Man Volnutt, will be released on September 29. In order to help facilitate gamers to its 3D-style of gameplay, Legends had a much slower pace compared to its side-scrolling predecessors. Mega Man Legends tells a story in which a re-cast Mega Man investigates the ruins of a flooded Earth with his excavation crew. Unfortunately, Red Ash has been quite controversial as of late, mainly pertaining to its failed crowdfunding campaign and the last-second announcement that the game has a publisher funding it, which it may have had the entire time it was up on Kickstarter.
Priced at $9.99, Mega Man Legends will be compatible with PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, but “due to a variety of constraints”, it won’t run on PlayStation Portable.
Meanwhile, PlayStation 4 users can download Mega Man Legacy Collection that is available on PSN for $14.99.
