Mega Millions lottery jackpot reaches $333 million
There was no victor of Friday night’s Mega Millions jackpot, which will roll over to $333 million ($226 million cash) for Tuesday’s drawing.
Tonight’s is $333 million, but if you take the lump cash option, it will be $226 million before taxes.
No player has managed to match all six Mega Millions numbers since March 8, when a jackpot of $157 million was awarded. It’s the highest drawing since March 2014, when a $414 jackpot was hit, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.
Florida players have the chance to become the state’s 35th MEGA MILLIONS millionaire by purchasing a $1 ticket at any of the more than 13,000 Lottery retailers across the state.
Megaplier costs $1 extra per Mega Millions line and multiplies non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four or five times, depending on which number is drawn. A player wins the jackpot by matching all six winning numbers in a drawing.
The Megaplier applies only for non-jackpot prizes and it can be purchased for an additional $1.
One ticket sold in south central Kansas for the June 18 Hot Lotto drawing matched the first five numbers to win $30,000.
Classic Lotto draws at 7:05 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
A winning ticket is worth $211 million cash for the June 17 drawing. To play, consumers choose five numbers from 1 to 75 and one MegaBall number from 1 to 15.
