Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green to divorce
Megan Fox has filed for divorce from her husband of five years, actor Brian Austin Green.
While Fox and Green continue to remain mum regarding the details of their divorce, a source close to the couple tells People that the duo have been arguing over “different stages of life and career”. According to People, Fox lists the date of separation as June 15.
Insiders for the celebrity gossip site added that Fox will likely end up paying Green spousal support, partly because the “Beverly Hills, 90210” actor has medical problems and lesser income.
Green’s outing on Friday comes barely two days after news broke that he and Fox had separated. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles star filed papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences for the reason behind their split.
The former couple were in the midst of renovating their $5 million home in Camarillo, about 40 miles northwest of LA, and even documented the planning of the construction on Bravo’s Flipping Out.
The Mirror reported that the cracks in the marriage became obvious to fans after Megan Fox stopped accompanying husband, Brian Austin Green on the renovation show “Flipping Out“.
Megan and Brian were last photographed together at the start of June, when they were pictured out for lunch in Beverly Hills. The two married in Maui in 2010. The source went on to say that a lot of their arguments revolved around her time not spent at home due to work. Green again proposed to Fox in 2010, and they tied the knot 24 days later in a private ceremony in Hawaii. Megan later told reporters that she felt sorry for women who entered into relationships only to find out the man isn’t helpful when it comes to the children.
