Megan Fox Files for Divorce
Megan Fox has officially filed for divorce, Gossip Cop confirms.
One of his pals said, “Brian felt totally disrespected when Shia bragged to people he hardly knew in Germany that he could Facetime Megan whenever he wanted”. They got engaged in 2006, briefly split in 2009, and then Wednesday in Hawaii in June 2010.
“The 29-year-old actress and the 42-year-old former teen heartthrob – who is best known for the TV series Beverly Hills, 90210 – have two children together: Noah, aged two, and Bodhi, aged 18 months”, MailOnline noted.
According to court documents, Fox has cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for her split from Green and is asking for joint physical and legal custody of the duo’s two sons. In fact, Meg will most likely have to pay Brian spousal support due to his medical problems and also because she’s the breadwinner of the family. Another insider added that Fox has been acting “independent” and has gone “weeks without talking to another human”.
While Fox has been swift in filing for divorce despite rumors of reconciliation, the source explains to TMZ that the divorce is “very amicable” and that the couple is planning to live in the same house following their divorce.
“They fight about her career”.
“There is no prenup, so earnings during their 5-year marriage are community property and divided 50/50”, sources close to the couple tell TMZ. It was assumed that Green would prefer to have his younger wife at home and raising his children.
If the couple’s separation surprised some, a number of others seemed to have seen it coming, thanks to Green’s appearance on the show “Flipping Out“. “Not only that, but when Lewis or Pulos asked about her, BAG seemed keep the conversation to a minimum”.
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green were last spotted together in Beverly Hills on June 9.
