Megan Fox Files for Divorce From Brian Austin Green
Actors Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green attend Ferrari Celebrates 60 Years In America on October 11, 2014 in Los Angeles, California. The two have decided to legally separate due to “irreconcilable differences”, according to the documents submitted in the court by Fox’s attorney, Laura Wasser.
Sources told gossip website TMZ.com that the duo, who started dating in 2004, did not sign a prenuptial agreement before tying the knot in Hawaii in 2010, so they are expected to equally divide their assets.
The couple have two children together.
With a gap on their income, there were reports that there’s a probability that the “Transformers” actress is going to pay Brian spousal support. Their last public appearance together was in June – they were seen having lunch together in Beverly Hills. According to the Daily Mail, the couple split six months ago, though they continue to reside amicably under the same roof.
“While they were having other problems as well – their careers being on a downward spiral contributed to their many arguments – it was her relationship with Shia that really hurt Brian”, the insider continued. When Bravo’s Jeff Lewis questions this and asks if Megan Fox is aware, Green snaps, saying, “What the f- man?” He even wanted a large basketball court constructed with a Lakers logo in the middle.
According to the source, Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf have been pretty close again these past few months.
Similarly, the source concludes by explaining that while Fox is eager to take on new movie roles and get back into acting, the “timing just wasn’t working” for her marriage. The actress also stated that they didn’t have much alone time between racing two kids and maintaining their careers.
