Meghan Markle Deletes All Social Media Accounts Before Royal Wedding
Everyone is thinking that his brother Prince William will be Harry’s best man at the wedding.
As the elder of Princess Diana’s sons told United Kingdom radio host Roman Kemp on Wednesday when the subject came up, “He hasn’t asked me [to be best man] yet, just to clear that up”.
LISTEN: Prince Harry and Prince William probably have some rivalries, just like any siblings.
People reports William said he and Harry have shared a close bond since childhood, with the death of their mother, Princess Diana, forging their relationship. The couple’s first royal engagement back in December saw Harry and Markle visit a charity fair organised by HIV/AIDS charity the Terrence Higgins Trust on World AIDS Day, suggesting Harry is keen to continue his HIV/AIDS activism.
In the weeks following Meghan Markle‘s engagement to Prince Harry, we’ve speculated on everything from which flowers will fill her bouquet to what food could be served at the reception.
Not known for their transparency, the British royal family limits communication with their millions of supporters worldwide to two main social media accounts- Kensington Palace Twitter and Kensington Royal Instagram.
There has been speculation about whether Markle’s father, mother, or both, would walk her down the aisle. For those who are curious, she was born to Thomas and Rosalyn Markle in 1965, meaning that she is now 52. Furthermore, the source went on to state that Meghan Markle hasn’t met Grant in 23 years, thus making the nonexistent nature of their relationship very clear. He filed bankruptcy in 2016 and moved to Mexico to live a reclusive life.
Kensington Palace did not wish to comment. There was a time when there was great pushback about a royal marrying someone with that kind of background as was the case with Harry’s great-great uncle. But now it only shows an error message that pops up whenever we search for her account, reading, “Sorry, this page isn’t available”. As she shyly came forward to shake the hands of rows of (mainly) black women who had lined up to offer her their congratulations, I had become part of the raucous chorus of adoration.
