DES MOINES, IA (08/12/2015)(readMedia)- Unfortunately, on Thursday, August 11th, Meghan Trainor announced that she was cancelling her tour, including an August 22nd performance at the Iowa State Fair Grandstand, due to vocal cord issues.
The singer, who rose to prominence after releasing All About That Bass in 2014, cancelled the remaining dates left on her MTrain tour on Tuesday. “I got bronchitis & have been coughing a lot & that pushed it over the edge”. I love you all very much and want to get healed quickly so I can show you this unbelievable tour we’ve been working on.

Amid her fears and tour dates cancellation, fans and fellow singers immediately sent their support to Meghan Trainor. News wrote. Fans who purchased tickets through advance bookings will be refunded. Her next hit, Like I’m Gonna Lose You, featuring musical artist John Legend, was her second song to hit Number One on the Australian Singles Chart.
Then on Jul. 13 the 21-year-old was given the go ahead to resume her tour.
