Megyn Kelly Goes After Trump for Misogynistic Comments
After she called him out on his sexist views and the way he talks about women on his television show and on Twitter, Trump answered by throwing shade at Megyn Kelly.
Trump added fuel to the sexist fire by interjecting and specifying that he only uses those terms for Rosie O’Donnell, a vocal critic of the business mogul.
Kelly continued, saying his comments were directed to women “well beyond Rosie O’Donnell”. Your Twitter account has several disparaging comments about women’s looks. “You once told a contestant that it would be a pretty picture to see her on her knees. Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president?”
“I think the big problem this country has is being politically correct”, he responded.
“I don’t have time for total political correctness”.
It’s fair to say that Megyn Kelly was not impressed.
“To Hillary Clinton, I said be at my wedding, and she came to my wedding”.
“So we might have a little of a Ronald Reagan here, a guy they underestimate”, he continued, noting that as he is friends with five or six of the GOP candidates, he’s having a hard time deciding who he wants to win the 2016 primary. We lose to China. And frankly, what I say – and oftentimes it’s fun, it’s kidding, we have a good time – what I say is what I say.
“So, if it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t even be talking about illegal immigration, Chris”.
