Mel B Walks Off AGT Stage after Simon’s Comment

Silver-haired Judge Mel B hurled a cup of water at Simon Cowell on America’s Got Talent after he cracked a crude “wedding night” joke at her expense during the show.

Mel B is now in the midst of an acrimonious divorce from ex Stephen Belafonte, whom she’s accused of abuse, sexual coercion, and blackmail.

“I kind of imagine this would be like Mel B’s wedding night”, he said following magician Demian Aditya’s lackluster performance that was plagued by technical difficulties.

Simon was critiquing a contestant when he began using a simile, comparing his performance to Mel B’s honeymoon. lots of anticipation, but no delivery.

The judge also arrived wearing an incredible multicoloured paneled dress, which although looking pretty form-hugging gave her enough freedom of movement to be able to throw a glass of water in Simon Cowell’s face. “This is live TV, y’all!”.

One of the judge’s favorites was 9-year-old Celine Tam’s dramatic take on the 1998 The Prince of Egypt Whitney Houston/Mariah Carey power ballad “When You Believe”.

Other performers for the night included The Masqueraders, Banks’ golden buzzer recipient the Light Balance dancer, dog act Pompeyo Family, twin singers and dancers Mirror Image and dance troupe Brobots & Mandroidz.

Mel B – real name: Melanie Brown – did eventually return to finish the show, but not before a fairly tense moment on the stage of the televised competition.

Since his days as the resident curmudgeon on American Idol, Simom Cowell has been known to TV viewers as the music industry’s most blunt and controversial reality star.
