Memphis Player Takes Ball From Auburn Staffer After Game
A Memphis football player had an altercation with a member of Auburn’s equipment staff and stole a football before leaving the field immediately following Wednesday’s Birmingham Bowl. Lynch’s end-zone interception early in the third quarter was particularly egregious and sunk Memphis’ chances of winning the game.
