Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe vs. BMW 4 Series Coupe

A fabric power-folding roof will most probably be used for the Mmercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet and it will most likely use the same powertrains as the Coupe and the S-Class sedan.

Mercedes-Benz released a sketch Saturday night of what it is calling its S-Class Cabriolet.

The all-new 2017 C-Class Coupe will seduce your senses with its alluring exterior, richly appointed interior and advanced technology.

Performance aside, the auto should look considerably better than the regular C-Class Coupe and here we have a rendering that’s actually based on the final product. There are rumours that engine line-up will match that of the S-Class Coupe.

Although it is yet to be confirmed, Drive understands the S-Class cabriolet will be sold with standard rear-wheel along with the option of Mercedes-Benz’s 4Matic four-wheel drive system on at least one model. At launch there will initially be the same range of petrol and diesel engines as the normal UK C-Class. The model in question will be taking aim at the BMW 4-Series Coupe, at the Cadillac ATS-V, at the upcoming Audi A5, in its new generation, and so on.

In just a few days, the 2016 Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe will debut. This is the ninth AMG model Merc is adding to its kitty. A flat bottomed steering wheel and sports seats are the highlights.

Either way, the company claims that it has adjusted the suspension fundamentally to make the vehicle more dynamic than the saloon, but without affecting ride quality.
