Mercedes Benz India announces new service programme
Mercedes have categorized these features under three broad categories which it calls as the 3 pillars namely the Digital Service Drive, Premier Express service and Innovative Service Products. They call it as ‘My Mercedes My service.’ It intends to improve the after-sale-service and provide customers stress-free and quick service experience.
India becomes the second country after the U.S to receive the Mercedes-Benz My Mercedes-My Service scheme, which offers a completely digital after-sales experience from the company.
Mercedes-Benz India has launched the “My Mercedes-My Service” campaign that introduces the first of its kind after sales and service support to new and existing customers. The objective is to offer the lowest cost of ownership with the predefined package. It guarantees an absolute comforting service to the customers without concerning the customers in any way. “Aftersales is a key element in our growth strategy in India and we are confident this initiative will only fortify our formidable customer trust and service reputation created over decades”. On the issue of making use of cleaner fuels, Folger ruled out using bio-diesel to power Mercedes’ cars and other vehicles in India, and clarified that it had never committed to any such possibility in meetings with Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari.
The first is the Digital Service Drive that uses latest technology to ensure transparent interactions between the customer and workshop. In order to do so, Mercedes has developed infrastructure like separate bays, two post lift and dedicated tools & equipment.
The Premium Express Service enables customers to get the auto serviced in a little over two hours. This Premium Express Service is available in all metro cities, but is not applicable for major service and repairs, warranty repairs, and service of AMG vehicles.
Star Ease New Service Package: “My Mercedes-My Service” introduces a new service package for the Star Ease programme which reduces the cost of maintenance relieving customers of any expense-related worries.
Star Ease Compact Plus will be offered for 3 years or 30,000 kms, 3 years or 60,000 kms, 4 years or 40,000 kms, 4 years with 80,000 kms and also 5 years or 100,000 kms. In 2016 alone, Mercedes-Benz India After-Sales is expected to service an impressive 160,000 cars.
