MI Wolverines and Penn State Nittany Lions football game today TV
MI Wolverines safety Jabrill Peppers. Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines are coming off a win over IN by a 48-41 double overtime final score, and now they look to secure a top bowl berth for the postseason. The last 13 times teams have moved inside the 20, the Wolverines have allowed just two touchdowns. The Nittany Lions had 70 net yards on 22 carries Saturday…. Penn State opened a successful 2014-15 campaign with a 7-4-3 mark. Jake Rudock has been very good. MI State is going to beat Penn State to take the Big Ten East and go off to face Iowa in the Big Ten championship.
Rudock, who has taken a few big hits this season, was asked after the game if he thought that was targeting.
There was no messing around early in the second set for the Nittany Lions. Sione Houma and De’Veon Smith also ran for touchdowns for the Wolverines (9-2, 6-1 Big Ten, No. 12 CFP). There was little to no consistency on offense and outside of a huge first drive run from Barkley, no running game. He is strong, determined and tough to bring down, but he is not a game changer.
On Saturday, Barkley bolted 56 yards on a delayed handoff by Christian Hackenberg – a play the junior quarterback checked the offense into at the line of scrimmage. Saturday’s match will be played at the 12,707-seat Crisler Center, where Michigan’s basketball teams play.

The Wolverines defeated Penn State on Saturday afternoon in Happy Valley, 28-16, doing their part to set up a potential Big Ten title game play-in game next weekend against rival Ohio State.
If progress has been made by PSU in Year Two under Franklin, it’s hard to see. The six touchdowns he threw last week (four to Jehu Chesson) is a new MI record and Harbaugh’s team is now a more-balanced one than it was in the season-opening loss at Utah.
In the second quarter, Penn State linebacker Von Walker blocked a MI punt, giving the Nittany Lions an opportunity to capitalize. Penn State was able to distance itself on multiple occasions, but Maryland kept finding ways to close the gap. “That’s the last time they’re gonna play in this stadium”.
Penn State managed just six rushing yards in the second half and Hackenberg had trouble throwing down the field under consistent pressure. Michigan’s defensive linemen often pushed Penn State’s offensive linemen back several yards.
So far this season Chad is 8-2 picking the results of MI Football games.
The Nittany Lions (7-4, 4-3) have lost back-to-back games to Northwestern and MI, both ranked teams.
On the flip side of that, Penn State hasn’t beaten a ranked opponent in the last two years.
These are two of the top defenses in the conference. MI sits at number one in total defense and Penn State is fourth.
MI hasn’t been the same team on the road that they’ve been at home this year, making this contest no gimmie even though the Wolverines are 3.5 point favorites.
