Miami Hurricanes vs. Cincinnati Bearcats: Betting odds, point spread and tv
Moore has a live arm, but he won’t be able to outduel Kaaya, as the Hurricanes inch closer to a spot at the tail end of the Top 25.
Facing Moore instead of Kiel doesn’t change Miami’s opinion of Cincinnati’s offense, which has averaged 622 yards per game so far – the third-best clip among all FBS teams. “He broke our record here and we’ve had a few quarterbacks that could really throw the football”, Cincinnati coach Tommy Tuberville said.
Joining the Canes (3-0) at Cincinnati (2-2) will be slot receiver Braxton Berrios, who sprained a knee in the opener but said he is now completely healthy. “We played them previous year. They’re going to go fast and we’ve got to be ready”.
Cincinnati is averaging almost 623 yards per game and piled up 752 in a loss to Memphis last Thursday. We know they can score quickly and can score in bunches. Kaaya said there’s no way the Hurricanes will be looking ahead.
“When we do find that consistency in every quarter, it’s going to be trouble for a lot of people”, said Waters, who is averaging 64.7 yards per game. Miami will try to stay flawless when they take on Cincinnati this Thursday. “Got a little bad luck, but we’re rolling, the team’s been rolling, and we’re good”. UM has won 11 of the 12 meetings and five of six on the road. Phillip Dorsett (Indianapolis Colts) caught two touchdown passes, Clive Walford (Oakland Raiders) grabbed another, Duke Johnson (Cleveland Browns) ran for one and Gus Edwards (injured, out for season) also scored on the ground. Miami is the fresher team, and that could be a problem for Cincinnati since the Hurricanes have speed, that the Bearcats can’t match. And their balance of Brad Kaaya’s tight throws and the running of Joseph Yearby will prevent the Bearcats from keying on one specific area. Kaaya threw for three touchdowns, and Miami rolled to a 55-34 win last October. Miami will look to move to 4-0 on the season.
The Bearcats are expecting 40,000 fans, the most to ever watch a game at the old Nippert stadium, which is the second oldest stadium in the nation. The last time the Bearcats lost in their own facility to a nonconference team was 2002, against Miami – that is, Miami of Ohio. The Hurricanes said they aren’t going to overly fixate on the staggering numbers the Bearcats’ offense has posted so far in 2015.
Miami has plenty of talent all around the ball but have still been under serious scrutiny after blowing a big lead against Nebraska and struggling with Florida Atlantic’s offense.
