Michael Bisping: New UFC Middleweight Champion
Bisping has won over many powerful fighters and stopping Luke will be possible he believes. Bisping has fashioned a profitable UFC career as a flamboyant English bad boy, yet he had never been given a title fight after 25 trips to the octagon.

In the 26th UFC fight of his career, the Englishman took full advantage of his first title shot.
Alas, that’s how things tend to go in this sport, where one well-timed punch can change the outlook of a division in an instant. It was American Rockhold’s first defence of the title since taking the belt off Weidman in December previous year. He has previously worked for Rivals, StatSheet and Bleacher Report.
The value of perspective and the proper frame of mind will be fully on display Saturday when UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz puts his gold on the line against Urijah Faber, in the co-main event of UFC 199. Bisping said, in reference to Saturday night’s fight and a sparring session between the pair in the past. I disagree. It’s better than sweet.
Few gave Bisping much chance and not just because of his two-week preparation time.
“Two weeks notice? As I said, two days, two hours, two hours anyone anywhere”.
In addition to the UFC title bout loss to Cruz, Faber lost to Renan Barao twice for the UFC bantamweight belt, in 2012 and 2014. “Luke Rockhold knows, though, that I’m a formidable opponent”.
“As soon as I went into the gym two weeks ago I felt strong and unbelievable, and my cardio felt really good”.
If you are a UFC fan, you should definitely not miss any UFC 199 live stream which will showcase some excellent MMA bouts from the world’s best fighters.
Both men landed big shots, but Dan Henderson managed to weather the storm in the first round to come back and knock out Hector Lombard with a vicious head kick followed by an elbow.
In an nearly foreshadowing way, Bisping said about Rockhold before the fight that, “When you’re on the floor and you’re looking up at the stars and say ‘(Expletive), I just lost my belt to a guy that came in on two weeks notice and took your belt that you’ve worked your whole life for.’ On two weeks (expletive) notice, mate”.
“Obviously I didn’t respect him enough”, Rockhold said, per Fox Sports.
Rockhold took the center of the cage, but Bisping was looking to throw first and land first.
