Michael Douglas reflects on death of mother, a ‘class act’
JAMES ZAHN/THE ROCK FATHER: David, you hashtagged your whole group as the #Antourage this morning… Ant-Man’s greatest achievement is convincing us that this is a superhero worth getting excited about, and an entertaining one as a bonus.
DASTMALCHIAN: I’m working on it, trust me.
Corey Stoll started out just like many others during the time superhero movies were laughed at-they read comics.
“And as a studio, I’m able to have talks with (Marvel President Kevin Feige) far more than another studio head I’ve ever worked with”. Are you gonna’ do something good in your life, or are you gonna’ do what our past is (for our characters)? But when writing the movie we tried to think of it as its own thing, although I like to think that if we weren’t being true to the characters that we would have been reigned back in.
When Rudd’s unlikely hero is invited to become Ant-Man and save the world, his considered response is: “I think our first move should be calling The Avengers”. He knows everything about the Marvel world.

The other option isn’t quite shrinking, but is a lot more likely in our lifetimes, much cheaper and very familiar to Futurama fans: Building tiny little robots, and controlling them remotely via telepresence systems. While in the hotel lobby, I ran into a familiar face from Christopher Nolan’s THE DARK KNIGHT, who was also in town to shoot a Wendy’s commercial with AMERICAN MOVIE director Chris Smith of Smuggler.
