Michael Phelps And His Purple Spots
Sharp eyed viewers of the Olympic swimming action on Sunday night were quick to go to social media to ask about visible rings on the back of Michael Phelps.
Also standing in Phelps’ way is Japan’s Kosuke Hagino, who is ranked No. 1 in the world this year in the 200-meter individual medley and won gold Saturday in the 400-meter IM.
But the great Olympic swimmer is not the only athlete sporting mysterious red bruises at the Rio Olympics this week.
Michael Phelps who was also part of the swimming team for 2012 USA men’s relay team which had France winning though its was a fierce competition, said then in an interview that his team will surely bring back the medal in future.
After the American men’s 4×100-meter relay team won gold, Michael Phelps reached down to help anchorman Nathan Adrian out of the pool. “And I’m not a spaghetti fan but I forced myself to eat it”.
“I guess I probably got to sleep at 03:00 and I was on an 11:00 bus. It’s been better than any money I have spent on anything else”, Naddour was quoted as saying.
“I’ve been a little off on my predictions to make it into semis and finals”, he said.
“The longer it’s in place, the longer the broken capillaries”, Clark said.
Katie Ledecky beat Phelps to bed by about 15 minutes after winning the 400 free in world-record time Sunday.
But these games in Rio will be different. “When people get the treatment and they recover really fast, they don’t care about the scientific evidence – they just care that it works”.
USA gold medal victor Ryan Held, an N.C. State swimmer, cries during the medal ceremony for the 4×100-meter freestyle relay final. In Europe, it has also become an alternative treatment in recent years.
“I thrive off their energy, I feel more confident”, Held said.
Touching the wall at 3:56.46, the distance swimmer who has owned the event, outpaced her former record by nearly two seconds. “I just asked for a little cupping yesterday because I was sore”.
