Michelle Obama Visits Disney Jr. on Health Day

LOS ANGELES (AP) – First lady Michelle Obama is paying a visit to the children’s animated series “Doc McStuffins“.

The network just announced that FLOTUS would be lending her voice during an upcoming episode of Doc McStuffins, a cartoon that centers around a young Black girl who serves as a doctor for her stuffed animals and toys.

The episode incorporates key messages surrounding the First Lady’s Let’s Move! healthy eating and excercise initiative, according to Disney channel officials. Showcasing the hallmarks of great Disney storytelling – fantasy and wish fulfillment – the series models compassion and good health for kids age 2-7.
