Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh: ‘We have ground to make up’

According to the Detroit Free Press, Harbaugh requested the white trousers because the Wolverines briefly wore them for a couple of seasons when his family first moved to Ann Arbor. De’Veon Smith appears to be possibly the Michigan starter at RB and while he is serviceable, he isn’t anything special and Ty Isaac is finally eligible after missing a season since transferring from USC but he could be the best back on the roster as Derrick Green played with the second unit in the Wolverines most recent scrimmage. While Michigan has never been short on talent, it has already become clear that Harbaugh is looking for his own type of player as several Michigan players have left the team in one way or another. The Michigan O-Line has strengths and weaknesses but Mason Cole started every game as a freshman and Erik Magnuson started eight games but the center spot could use help as Graham Glasgow could be the starter.

“The only other games that’ll be going on are NFL preseason games”, Harbaugh said. He’s one of those youngsters who really makes our football team better.

It’s been an offseason of nonstop hype for Michigan after Harbaugh was hired in late December following a successful run with the San Francisco 49ers. But Rudock himself says his role is “to facilitate, and get the ball to the playmakers” and “taking what the defense gives him”. The Wolverines are trying to rebound from a 5-7 showing last season under Brady Hoke, and if they can beat Utah, expectations may rise quickly. “Coach Harbaugh wants to do it in the hottest time of the day, so it’s 1 to 4, specifically to shape the body and mold the mind”.

Jordan’s “Jumpman” brand announced earlier this month that the University of Michigan’s football team would feature the brand’s logo on their uniforms as part of the school’s new agreement with Nike. “Come on. Who is it?'” Harbaugh said wife Sarah was “very, very impressed” that Jordan called him….

Jim Harbaugh is quite a celebrity these days, but even he was taken aback when he received a phone call recently from Michael Jordan.

“Yeah, I think that’s something that’s been ongoing and that takes place”, he said.

“It’s been an experience that I’ll probably tell my kids about when I’m older”, offensive lineman Kyle Kalis said.

And he said, ‘This is Michael Jordan.’ I said, ‘Come-aaahn! Michigan elected LB Joe Bolden and FB Joe Kerridge as captains.
