Microsoft details DLC and add-on system for backwards compatible Xbox 360
Microsoft announced that DLCs will work with backwards compatible games of Xbox 360 to Xbox One consoles along with brief instructions.
The Xbox One Home screen now gives players fast access to the console’s social features. However, the game can not be played on the Xbox One until November 12 because the Xbox One Backward Compatibility will not be released until that date.
Microsoft has introduced a sweeping new update for the Xbox One, the New Xbox One Experience, that brings in Windows 10 as the console’s operating system and offers backwards compatibility with many Xbox 360 games. Backward Compatibility will go live for all Xbox One consoles with or without the NXOE dashboard after 3:01pm ET/12:01pm (noon) PT today.
However, the availability of game titles on any console evidently is the most pivotal factor. They range from a few of the best indie titles of the last generation to AAA titles and franchises.
A big update for Microsoft’s Xbox One is due to start downloading to consoles around the world on Thursday.
